The Sofitel Arc de Triomphe is a marvelous 5 star Hotel in Paris, strategically located near the Champs Elysées and Parc Monceau. It is perfect for business travels, as well as for family and couples. Inside the hotel there is a lovely restaurant by Michelin Starred Chef Christian Constant, called “Les Cocottes”. I had the big pleasure to spend here a long weekend and I would definitely recommend this hotel for your next trip to Paris!
As soon as I arrived, the warm welcome at the reception made me feel immediately very comfortable. The fresh flowers and the brand new interiors got my attention straight away too.
During my stay I have been so lucky to enjoy the splendid Prestige Suite, and its wonderful view from the balcony over the Parisian rooftops. The first sunset has been memorable!
THE LUXURIOUS PRESTIGE SUITE
This luxurious suite is bright and wide, with a big bathroom and spacious closets.
Inside the suite I got a lovely welcome gift-box, which was a very nice touch!
I honestly consider the bed of this suite one of the best ever: it is called “MyBed” and it has been designed for this hotel exclusively. It felt like sleeping on a cloud, it is unbelievable! 🙂
The bathroom is very spacious, it has a very wide shower as well as a comfortable bathtub.
All the body products are Hermès branded. So good!
IN-ROOM BREAKFAST
The first morning I ordered breakfast in the room, in order to enjoy the spacious suite as well as the lovely balcony view over the Parisian elegant buildings. Everything was delicious and nicely served! Very Parisian style: some fresh croissants, jams, fresh fruits and some omelettes.
REGULAR BREAKFAST
The following morning I tried the regular breakfast and it was lovely as well!
LES COCOTTES RESTAURANT
Les Cocottes Restaurant is a “bistroteque” concept developed by Michelin Starred Chef Christian Constant. It is located on the ground floor of the Sofitel Arc de Triomphe Hotel ( please keep in mind that there is also another one near the Tour Eiffel!).
Christian Constant proposes an authentic cuisine.
This concept is crystallized in the dishes prepared and served in “les cocottes”, the famous Staub house cast-iron casseroles.
Its singularity goes far beyond the simple presentation. Through the association of ingredients and cooking techniques, “les cocottes” takes cooking to a new level that brings out new and sometimes forgotten flavors of fresh produce. Guests discover or rediscover bistrot-style dishes and French culinary treasures in versions they could not dream possible.
This restaurant is perfect if you are looking for a smart-casual kind of atmosphere, with an impeccable service and exquisite French food! You can choose to eat in the main room or also at the counter in a separate fancy room.
During my stay I had the immense pleasure to have dinner at Les Cocottes Arc de Triomphe Restaurant: it has truly been remarkable! Everything we order was delicious, the service really impeccable and the atmosphere very pleasant!
I would surely recommend to try this restaurant even if you are not a guest of the hotel, for lunch or for dinner!
