Located in the heart of Camps Bay, a fancy and upscale suburb in Cape Town, The Sea Five Hotel provides to its guests a spectacular and unique experience of the city. In fact, from this luxurious 7-bedrooms-villa you would be able to enjoy both the ocean and mountains view!
The power of the nature in Cape Town is surely overwhelming and when you get the chance to find a place where you can feel the sound of the ocean together with a breathtaking view of the Lion’s Head as well as the Twelve Apostles is quiet a blessing! For my experience, The Sea Five Hotel is one of the best properties in town, perfect for couples as well as for families or group of friends!
THE VILLA
As previously mentioned, The Sea Five Hotel is a 7-bedrooms-villa, 300 meters away from Camps Bay Beach and its promenade, full of restaurants, bars and shops.
Each rooms is delightfully decorated, very clean and tidy, with a private terrace each. In every room you can find TV, hairdrier,soaps and creams. Laundry services are included, upon request.
I’d like to highlight also that I really appreciated the artworks in every part of the property: I loved the combination of contemporary art together with the traditional style of a villa by the sea!
THE LIVING ROOM/DINING AREA
On the first floor, near the entrance, there is a lovely living room in front of the outdoor swimming pool, where the guests can relax and enjoy a glass of wine or a nice drink from the bar. In this area, I had also my breakfast in the morning. Such a cozy and pleasant atmosphere!
THE SWIMMING POOL
This stunning villa in Camps Bay has of course a long swimming pool, with a terrace and a pool bar, perfect to chill during the day and of course during the sunset!
THE LUXURIOUS PENTHOUSE
On the top floor of the villa you can get the best room of the hotel: The Penthouse Suite.
This wonderful wide room has also the best view, because you can enjoy from the front terrace the ocean view, from the side terrace the Lion’s Head and from the back terrace the Twelve Apostles. The only room I have seen in Cape Town with such views together! Quiet astonishing! 🙂
Another detail that I really appreciated about this fabulous suite is its bathroom, with a double-shower and a jacuzzi-bath. Phenomenal! In addiction, this room has a wide living room with a kitchen corner and another spare room specifically thoughts for kids, in case a family would rent the upper part of the villa.
I could never forget how beautiful the sunset colors were on the Twelve Apostles, and from the back terrace I took some outstanding pictures of those moments!
Waking up in the morning in front of the Lion’s head has been pretty splendid as well!
And of course, as previously mentioned, the power of the ocean in Camps Bay is unmissable – and unforgettable! – especially from the Penthouse Suite of The Sea Five Hotel! I loved hearing the sound of the big waves before going to bed!

If you are a big family or a big group of friends, please note that it is possible to rent out the entire villa for your private holiday, without sharing it with other guests! How fabulous!
BREAKFAST @ THE POOL BAR
Included in your stay, in the morning you can have a delicious breakfast at the Pool Bar in the main area of the villa. During my stay, everything was incredibly fresh and well prepared, I really enjoyed it! And the super attention to details made everything even better!
You can also have lunch and dinner upon request!
Moreover, I truly liked the background music played during breakfast as well! As said, at The Sea Five Hotel every detail matters and you could feel the attentive and elegant touch of the owners in every corner!
I would highly recommend this property to the people who are looking for a luxurious stay in Cape Town, with the “home-away-from-home” kind of feeling! But also to locals for a delightful staycation!
